Welcome! My name is Ron Belotti. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with a variety of different clients, and provide therapy services for both individuals and couples. Some of my areas of expertise include relational issues, trauma, infidelity, life transitions, sexuality, as well as sexual and intimacy issues. In addition to my specialties, I also see clients for issues related to stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic illness.

I value providing a warm, compassionate, and empowering atmosphere for all my clients. I utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities and evidenced-based treatments to help clients gain deeper insight into their issues and pain points, gain the tools needed to overcome obstacles, and empower them to make the changes they desire.

Some modalities I utilize include Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman (for couples), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). These modalities aid in helping clients manage anxiety and depression, heal from trauma, gain healthy coping skills, and improve emotion management skills.

I have completed Gottman Level 2 Training, and am currently working towards becoming a Licensed Sex Therapist.

Providing the care you deserve is most important to me. The key ingredient for change is a strong therapeutic alliance between client and clinician, and I am dedicated to fostering that. Although I am a Therapist, I am also a human being.
